“Euphoric Indie Pop from north of the border, layered with post rock guitars, infectious melodies, and a moment of falsetto genius.” – The 4O5

“Epic pop can be a fickle mistress – there’s a danger for it to sound too melodramatic and not as ‘big’ as it’s trying to be – but to me these guys have nailed it.” – Sevensevens

“Galleries wields this retro sentimentalism with agency and aplomb. Pure helfy-like indeed. ” – Peervalidated

“By the power invested in me here at TBE, you owe it to yourself to take a listen. And take a listen loudly.” – The Burning Ear

“Their latest single ‘Young Wounds’ is a beautiful, epic pop track that is full of optimistic enthusiasm.” – Kick Kick Snare

“Epic, mountainous guitar riffs carrying a phoenix-like ‘rise from the ashes’ lyrical message makes ‘Young Wounds’ one of the most enchanting singles to come out recently.” – Electric Panda Music

“If you like big stadium inspired rock and roll, then Galleries are your guys. They’re a four piece from Glasgow, Scotland who naturally lean towards a big stadium ready sound. Crystal clear vocals and mountain sized ambition create a weightless feeling that you can only get from powerful music. This is the type of music that would play during that big epic moment of a film, right before the resolution. Darkness may be coming, but not while this song lights the way.” – We All Want Someone to Shout For

“Galleries’ sound is unmistakeable. It has that guitar we love, fantastic vocals and MUF can only hold this band in high regard given the nature of their single. Let it be known that in terms of male vocalists, David McAdam is up there with our other favorite singers this year.” – Music Under Fire

“I’m digging it. A great driving indie rock track! ” – Off The Radar

“New track Darkness Coming still holds that big epic sound that I loved on their debut. It’s also got a bit more of a pop sensibility.” – Me and all My Friends

“Next up was another Glasgow band by the name of Galleries who I knew absolutely nothing of, but had been assured their singer possessed a cracking set of lungs. Almost from the outset, I was impressed by the band, their melodic take on post-rock was refreshing and the singer could indeed sing…and how. Despite openly admitting he was struggling with the flu, he displayed a vocal range that would put many an established frontman to shame. Reminiscent of Brett Anderson in his pomp and with intelligent music to accompany, courtesy of a tight and talented band, Galleries are most certainly ones to watch.” – The Skinny (Wickerman 2010)

“Galleries stand head and shoulders above their peers in Glasgow’s crowded guitar-band scene.” – The Pop Cop (The Captains Rest – Glasgow)

“Their lead singer’s vocal range alone justifying the entry price, even while warped by some mesmerising pedal work… their set is well-received and the hype easily justified.” – Ark Mag
